Painted Mandalas

A great workshop to teach about circular symmetry, colour mixing and mark making. Working with a select amount of colours, children delight in discovering new tints, tones, shades and hues of colours. Utilising the shape and size of a variety of brushes, children explore making different marks and look at what simple shapes can be used repetitively to build and create a mandala pattern.
