Weaving

From making a loom to selecting and choosing colours, using, wool, fabric scraps and ribbon, children learn how to weave creating miniature textile art to hang on their wall. Weaving can be freestyle or inspired from a picture such as a landscape or a geode.

Age: 7+(can be younger for mixed age groups)

Duration: 90 mins (1 or 2 sessions depending on the size of loom and yarn used)

Options: Choose from circular or loom based weaving. Workshop content can be adjusted to fit a specific duration.
