Let your child's creativity shine!

Athea Kid's Art Club is a fun weekly art club for 5-12-year-olds in the Carnegie Library, Athea, West Limerick. It's about encouraging your child's creativity and imagination, enabling them to make art that is as unique and wonderful as they are!

About Art Club

Each term, our young artists explore a multitude of art, craft and design activities, learn new techniques, use professional art materials and are inspired by a diverse range of subject matters.

Our project list is endless, printing, drawing, painting, sewing, sculpting, papier mache, upcycled crafts, ink art, process art, seasonal crafts, plus much more, all taught by myself, Rachael Grainger. With over two decades of professional creative practice, it is a pure joy to be able to share my expertise with the young artists and see their confidence and creativity grow.

I find the art class great as a way for children to unwind. They learn so much about artists and art techniques. They skip to it every week and are in great form afterwards. Anne Marie – Parent and National School Teacher

I love it because it’s fun. Nancy, Age 7
